Mental Health Conditions
Depression
A depressive disorder is an illness that involves the body, mood, and thoughts. It interferes with daily life, normal functioning, and causes pain for both the person with the disorder and those who care about him or her.
Stress
Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension. It can come from any event or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, or nervous.
Anxiety
Anxiety is a normal human emotion that everyone experiences at times. Many people feel anxious, or nervous, when faced with a problem at work, before taking a test, or making an important decision. Anxiety disorders, however, are different. They can cause such distress that it interferes with a person’s ability to lead a normal life.
Anger Management
Anger is a natural emotion that we all experience. Mild forms of anger may include displeasure, irritation or dislike. When we react to criticism, threat or frustration we may become angry – and usually this is a healthy response. Anger may be a secondary response to feeling sad, lonely or frightened.
Attention Deficit Disorder Evaluation
Attention deficit disorder (ADD) is purely a biological disorder and not a result of child-rearing. Attention Deficit Disorder can present with or without Hyperactivity symptoms. These symptoms of ADD without Hyperactivity are subtle and may be difficult to identify.
